Te suif?

This project was presented at Fashion Week 2025 as part of the Inspiration Show, which explored Moroccan culture, heritage, and personal roots.

For my design, I drew inspiration from a painting by my grandfather titled Te Suif? - meaning “Are you thirsty?” in Moroccan Arabic. The painting became a personal connection between my family history and my own design language.

I looked closely at the clothing depicted in the painting, translating its silhouettes and shapes into the garment’s construction. I also transformed the painting itself into a repeated print, playing with different scales across the garment. Through this process, a personal family memory became something wearable - connecting heritage, art, and contemporary fashion.
