APPROACH

Her practice moves between fashion, menswear, costume, and inclusive design, combining strong garment construction with textile manipulation, embroidery, illustration, and hand techniques. Through research, writing, and hands-on experimentation, Ofir approaches fashion as more than a visual language; it becomes a way of translating emotions, memories, and personal experiences into physical form.

Storytelling is central to her process. Rather than separating concept from construction, she allows ideas to develop through making - through repetition, drawing, material experimentation, handwork, and the transformation of familiar forms. Garments become carriers of emotion and memory, where silhouette, texture, restriction, softness, and detail can communicate what is often difficult to express directly.

Her work frequently begins with an intimate question and gradually expands outward, connecting personal narratives to broader conversations around identity, the body, vulnerability, transformation, and society. She is particularly interested in the tension between opposing states: comfort and discomfort, protection and restriction, strength and fragility, beauty and unease.

For Ofir, fashion is a space where these contradictions can coexist. Through craftsmanship and experimentation, she creates garments that do not simply illustrate a story, but embody it- allowing clothing to become a place for reflection, communication, and emotional expression.
